Tedd Arnold

We were so excited to have author, Tedd Arnold, visit Jefferson on May 9! He is best known for his Fly Guy series and Parts books. We created a banner for Mr. Arnold to celebrate his book More Parts, which introduced us to the concept of idioms. The kids had so much fun creating their own idioms, from "piece of cake" to "give me a hand." They were also thrilled when Mr. Arnold came over to have his picture taken with our banner!

Vocabulary Parade

Your kids did an amazing job during our vocabulary parade Friday! I was so impressed by how creative they were! We had such a good time visiting several first and third grade classes, as well as our fifth grade buddies! This is always such a fun way to celebrate expanding our vocabularies!
