Hot Cocoa Writing Celebration

The kids have worked incredibly hard on their realistic fiction stories in Writer's Workshop over the past month. They developed their own unique character and then wrote a story in which the character had a problem to solve. They did an excellent job! We celebrated our conclusion of the unit last Friday by sharing our realistic fiction stories with our writing buddies over a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows!
