Lollipop Adjectives
The students have been working very hard to learn their parts of speech. In second grade, the goal is that students can identify and use nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. We've learned about the first three and will study adverbs in the spring. Hopefully, the Weekly Word Wizard will keep the terms fresh in your child's mind. Last week we had fun wrapping up our study of adjectives by completing "Lollipop Adjectives." Each of the students got a lollipop and then had to describe their lollipop using adjectives. Of course, once they were finished, they got to eat their lollipops!
