The Statue of Liberty (By Cameron)

This week in second grade we are learning about symbols like the Statue of Liberty. She welcomes people to America and the seven rays on her crown stand for the seven continents. Her shoe size is 878 and she gave hope when the twin towers fell. She was a gift from France. She has a tablet in her left hand and it says July fourth 1776 America’s birthday.  She  was  opened  in  October  1886.Her  eyes  is  as  big as  a  kid.  You  can only  see  it  on  a   boat  and  you  go  in  its  eye. Her torch stands for freedom.
